(This post can be used for game continuations or one-on-one meetings! It can also be used as a general 'call me out' post for Maya. Please specify in the title if it's an ingame thread or not, and if not, which canon point/RP version you'd like! Feel free to write a scenario for the latter, or let me know what kind of thread you're looking for and I'll set up a scenario for you)

Who am I kidding, YOU CAN START THIS. ]
I'M NOT LATE YOU'RE LATE
[So, first step, cotton candy, of course! She generously gets one for each of them (with the money she'd managed to get from Phoenix, earlier), and hands Dahlia's over]
Step one of the Master Plan is complete! We've got snacks.
LATE LIKE A... ELEPHANT NOT IN THE ROOM YET
Thank you. That’s very sweet of you, Maya.
[ She allows herself a taste, delicately curling some of the candy around her finger before sucking it off in a quick gesture.
It’s about as disgusting as she imagined. ]
What’s step two?
[ Does it involve murder? Every good “Master Plan” should involve murder. …get it? :D ]
I'm an elephant on vacation, okay
[Sadly, Maya's plans do not involve murder. Not even her... "Master Plans." But that just means Dahlia has to be creative] You should finish it, though. [Before she takes it on herself to finish the cotton candy. As for step two....]
Now, we've got to scope out the rides.
And your trunk is super sexy
Maya having a good idea makes her want to grit her teeth.
And, besides, this Dahlia is the type of woman who cowers at frightening things, who grips her date’s hand and trembles demurely. ]
How about the apples?
[ She points then to a grounded ride, one for children. Spinning apples in a rotating carousel, taking several turns on their enclosed pike. ]
That could be fun.
[ smile smile ]
of course it is. PEANUTS?
Really? That one? That's for little kids!
[She says, as if amusement parks weren't all pretty much for kids!!! But if Dahlia really wanted, she couldn't say no. Maybe they could work up their way to better rides...]
[But she makes one last attempt at PERSUASION:]
Doncha want something a little more cool? I bet that's the kind of ride Nick would like....
If by peanuts you mean doughnuts, then yes.
[ Looking well like a woman besotted (and, inwardly, trying not to gag), Dahlia parts her lips thoughtfully. Well, if Maya is dead set on using persuasive methods that is necessary for her to buy to maintain the masquerade, then - why not? ]
He is very mild, isn’t he?
[ With a kind, conspiratorial smile, like it’s a shared joke between them. And then, adding, ]
Alright, Maya. What sort of ride would you like to try?
it's been 84 years
--Feenie? [And she's startled giggling] Is that your little nickname for him?
[because he's never going to live this down, ever.]
Um, um! What about one of the big rollercoasters...?
[Her eyes flicker to the big attractions, with, presumably, even bigger lines.]

Still, for Maya, and for Maya's image of her, it's important that Dahlia put on a show. ]
Um, I don't know...
[ She bites down on her lip, looking uncertain. ]

there is a rapping a-tapping at her dorm door. ]
Yoooo. Little pig, little pig, lemme in!
no subject
[You can practically see her puffing her cheeks from behind the door]
What's the big idea, Floppy?

[But she opens the door, cheeks puffed, glaring up at him]
Where've you been?!
no subject
I dunno.
I'M NOT LATE YOU'RE LATE

Still pretending to generally browse without actually letting anything catch his attention, he wanders into the comics section when he's certain no one is looking, slowing his steps down, glancing from the corner of his eye to see if there's - ah, there it is! Now he just has to come back another day to buy it when he's disguised, or perhaps have it reserved...]

[A comic of delicious Steel Samurai flavor, to be exact. Just as Edgeworth is immersed in his perusing, the tell-tale topknot wafts through the sea of comics - right up until she gets a glimpse of him.]
[She almost has to double-take. Miles Edgeworth, in a comic book store? Looking at Steel Samurai merchandise, on top of that? Wow. Nick would have a fit.]
[It's not like Edgeworth has any adorable teenage girl friends to make sure his crusty old self appreciates the finer things in life, right?]
[So he must be... a fan. Time to be subtle. Time to sneakily slither over to him and--]
Hey, Mr. Edgeworth!
no subject
So when he hears a familiar voice, he whips around and hurriedly takes a few steps away from the display as if continuing onward.]
M-Maya - ! [Then he stops, clearing his throat and adjusting his cravat, his attempt at nonchalance.] Ah...hello... [HE COULD SAY GOODBYE RIGHT NOW but it would be rude to ditch her at this moment. So, casual nonchalance it is!]
no subject
[A slow smile spreads across her face as she watches him fluster, looking in between the comic and him. The comic, and him.]
[He's doomed]
Fancy seeing you here, Mr. Edgeworth! Are you looking at the new issue? I've been dying to read it...
[Oh, yes, she can definitely swing this in her favor. ALL ACCORDING TO PLAN]
no subject
Edgeworth pretends to regard the next display of books...which happens to be showing off novelizations of comic and TV series. So he looks away from those as well and focuses on Maya, brain working overtime to concoct an escape plan and a plan that will keep Maya's mouth shut. She's not dim-witted, after all. He tries to regain his composure, but that's a slow process considering he's still within the vicinity of the comic books.]
Er...n-no, I was just...trying to find new reading material...
[And you thought to look in the shelves full of comics? That's what the most rational part of his brain points out mockingly.]
And s-somehow...stumbled into this area.
no subject
Really? It was in your hand and everything!
[she gets up on her tiptoes and attempts to whisper in his ear (nice try, Maya):] You know.... Nick's around here somewhere... I was going to ask him to buy this for me, but....
[is this blackmail?]
[it's possible.]
no subject
At least Edgeworth can't help but lean down so Maya has an easier time whispering into his ear. It was almost a reflex gesture. (They probably whisper about Phoenix sometimes.) Upon hearing what she has to say, however, he takes a step back.
This is blackmail, isn't it. ISN'T IT?]
...Wright is here too? [The words tumble out of his mouth before he could stop himself. Quickly, he straightens up and folds his arms across his chest casually. As casually as he could make that sort of action look, anyway.] Hmph. I hope he's updating his library of law books instead of looking for comic books. [Like you were just moments ago, Edgeworth?]
